On Silver Wings Volume 1 is the first of three volumes that tell the story of the RAAF and its predecessors in the Golden Years of aviation between the World Wars. The story told in unprecedented detail, the author using official documents from archives in Australia and overseas, as well as conducting interviews with surviving RAAF personnel over a 20 year period. I read all the manuscripts offered to the Air Force and found yours absolutely amazing; the detail is fantastic and it really fills a gap in our Air Force’s history. Congratulations. Each aircraft is illustrated by a three-view drawing and official drawings where available.
