International Society of Automation Advanced Temperature Measurement and Control (International Society of Automation)

Presented by the International Society of Automation, a technical group for industrial engineers, this volume describes the current state of the art in temperature control and measurement across a variety of process industry applications. Topics discussed include general subjects such as temperature measurement and errors, feedback control and process dynamics, and specific applications such as exchangers, reactors, columns, vessels, dryers, kilns, calciners and cold rooms. The work includes a final chapter on the use of wireless technologies in control and measurement processes. Each chapter includes numerous illustrations and formula as well as practice exercises with solutions. McMillan is an expert on automation and control systems.
