Description
Charles & Sadie Dixon-Spain moved to Dunans in 2003, but it was only with the advent of the ScottishLaird project, and the creation of an international community of interest, that the project to restore the castle really took off. In 2014 the first preparatory works began, and over the decade since, Charles has been documenting the progress that he and Sadie have made towards their aim – restoring the castle and creating a sustainable building for Lairds and Ladies to come and stay. Dunans Decade is the first collection of those images into a coherent visual narrative, and covers the realisation of a path towards recovering the castle and the A-listed bridge over which the building is accessed.
