About the Author Martina Horáková is the Head of Central Banking Advisory and Economic Researcher. She organises annual seminars on central bank governance, management and strategic planning. Martina also contributes to the Central Banking journal and news website CentralBanking.com. Before joining Central Banking Publications, Martina gained a masters degree in development economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Her masters dissertation focused on the costs of foreign-exchange reserves accumulation in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and the Russian Federation. Prior to that, Martina had studied economics at the Freie Universität Berlin. Amy Jordan is Editorial Assistant at Central Banking Publications (CBP) and Risk Books. Starting at CBP in 2011, Amy has researched editions of both the Central Bank Directory and the How Countries Supervise directory. She also worked on the development of the Central Bank Directory Online. Amy is also working with Central Banking Books on the topic of sovereign investment. With Risk Books, she has contributed towards the editorial development of books on topics such as systemic risk, (re)insurance, risk modelling and stress testing. Amy joined Risk Books and Central Banking Publications after completing her undergraduate degree in English Literature at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
