About the Author is Professor Emerita in Intercultural Studies at Roskilde University, Denmark. Research interests: the relationships between language and culture in a transnational and global perspective; cultural representations in language textbooks; the intercultural learning of the global citizen; intercultural dialogue and multilingual policies at the international university.
