About the Author Grace Moore is Lecturer in Literary Studies at the University of Melbourne, Australia. She is the author of Dickens and Empire (Ashgate, 2004), which was short-listed for the New South Wales Premier's Biennial Award for Literary Scholarship (2006), and the co-editor of Victorian Crime, Madness and Sensation (Ashgate, 2004).
