The Phonetics of Dysarthria provides a broad overview of dysarthria, as well as coverage of three distinct studies of the phonetic features and phonological implications of the speech disorder. The first chapters cover the effects of dysarthria in Greek through the acoustic and perceptual investigation of the realization of lexical stress. The last chapters use the framework of interactional phonetics to look at conversational repair and the phonetics of self-repair in individuals with dysarthria.
