In the previous books of the author, devoted to the study of the geometry of structures that arise in a variety of specific natural systems (chemical, physical, biological, geological), the existence of a wide variety of types of polytopes of the highest dimension was discovered. Many of these types of polytopes were unknown in classical geometry. At the same time, new properties of polytopes were discovered, new geometric patterns to which they obey. There is a need to classify the types of polytopes of the highest dimension discovered in the study of various natural systems, listing their properties and formulating the laws to which they obey. This will be useful both for the fundamental development of geometry, reflecting the properties of nature, and for the development of branches of science related to human activities, and providing him with the necessary industrial goods, food, medicines, and health.Our knowledge of the geometry of polytopes, obtained in the previous historical period, is very outdated. They do not reflect the real forms that exist in nature. This is convincingly shown in the author's monographs. For further development, it is necessary to take into account the highest dimension of polytopes describing natural formations. The concept of higher dimensions should become a natural human concept (starting from school). This requires the publication of books explaining the meaning of higher dimensions, systematically generalizing the results of geometric research in various fields of knowledge.The book's consumers can be all people who use natural science knowledge in their lives, since the book is devoted to the basics of this knowledge.
