He has participation in conferences/workshops/short courses across the world. He was appointed as the Head of Department (HOD) in 2016, emerging as the Youngest HOD in the University. He received a Double Promotion to the Rank of a Full Professor of Economics in December 2017, which made him the Youngest Professor in the University. He is a member of many International Learned Societies/Professional Associations. He is the editor of ‘Handbook of Research on In-Country Determinants and Implications of Foreign Land Acquisitions’ published in 2015. Presently, he is editing ‘The Palgrave Handbook of Agricultural and Rural Development in Africa’ undergoing publication by Palgrave Macmillan, and Guest Editing ‘Labour Issues in Africa’s Agricultural and Rural Transformation’ for African Journal of Economic and Management Studies (AJEMS) to be published by Emerald.Olaronke Onanuga holds a PhD in Economics from the University of South Africa. Her research interest lies in economic development, financial development and sustainable development. She was a lecturer at Hallmark University and Covenant University after completing her PhD. She was the secretary to the conference organising committee (COC) of the 2019 International Conference on Africa Development and the secretary of the Committee on the Centre for Economic Policy and Development Research (CEPDeR). She is a research fellow at CEPDeR and a lecturer at KolaDaisi University, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.Oluyomi Ola-David is a development economist who is concerned about global development. She currently holds a faculty position at the Department of Economics and Development of Covenant University, Nigeria. She enjoys generating solutions, influencing policy and providing clarity.
