About the Author Stefan Berger has been the Chairman of the Library Foundation of the Ruhr since 2011. He directs the Institute for Social Movements at the Ruhr University Bochum, and previously held the position of Professor of Modern German and Comparative European History at the University of Manchester. Caner Tekin (PhD) is a member of the Centre for Mediterranean Studies at the Ruhr University Bochum. He worked previously at the Georg-Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research in Brunswick as a postdoctoral fellow
