Residential Tenancies provides a clear and comprehensive statement of the law regulating private and social leases of dwellings in Ireland and explains the dispute resolution mechanisms of the Residential Tenancies Board, appeals, and enforcement. One of the recited aims of the Residential Tenancies Act 2004 was to provide an inexpensive and speedy means by which disputes between parties to a residential tenancy would be resolved, and the Private Residential Tenancies Board (now the Residential Tenancies Board) was established for that purpose.
