The under-development of neurosurgery in the community for common cases like mild head injury, uncomplicated shunted patients and selected degenerative spine diseases follow up has further reduced the interest in neurological condition in General Practice. The goal of this book is to demystify basic neurosurgery without sacrificing excellence and to offer frontline doctors some insight into my didactic approach to neurosurgical patients from first and basic principles. Furthermore, this book is equally useful and appropriate for students and doctors with little or no neurosurgical knowledge.
