Description

This book is intended for senior radar system designers who have been working in radar industry for few years. Most of discussions on radar fundamentals at introductory level have been limited, and they can be acquired easily from books on radar introduction. Rather, emphasis on radar practice and design tradeoff using validated design analysis tools; especially in detection performance analyses which often create non-agreeable results among system analysts. Most likely, it may be caused by unclear radar system performance requirements, and that is why a mutual-agreeable systems requirement is key to consistent radar system analysis. Starting from the Mission Requirements at the highest level over radar performance requirements, and then to extract them to establish the most important radar-related requirements from which radar analysis tasks are defined. Results from each analysis need to be integrated together to perform the overall design tradeoffs, which is also the reason why it is called integrated radar system analysis.
