Dr. Baig has successfully completed a one-year training and certification course in basic concepts and clinical applications of flow cytometry, conducted by the American Association of Clinical Chemistry. He also underwent a six-month certification course at BMJ Fortis – CDOC, in collaboration with RCP (UK), on diabetes mellitus, and an e-learning certification programme in transfusion medicine, blood bank and patient management from the Australian Red Cross Society. Dr. Baig has published 14 research articles as primary and first author in national and international journals and eight case reports (one of which is in Dovepress, New Zealand). He is a member of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis, UK. He has attended several conferences, continuing medical education courses, and workshops (national and international).
