Description
Complementary medicine refers to the use of alternative medicine with functional medical treatment, for the purpose of improving the treatment effects. Alternative medicine involves the use of such practices, which are unproven to relieve the pain or to achieve other healing effects of medicine. Naturopathy and homeopathy are two of the most common forms of alternative medicine. Naturopathy is a natural and non-invasive therapeutic treatment method based on the belief that the body heals on its own by using a vital energy, which guides the bodily processes.
