This book includes artwork from over 80 contemporary creatives, each showcasing beautiful examples of specific concepts. vision-problems begins with information for high school students developing unique portfolios for college arts programs. The subsequent units address principals of design, digital culture, and thoughts on developing a thriving studio practice. vision-problems can be used as an introduction to critical theory. The text introduces complex concepts in simplified language with the ultimate goal of having creatives incorporate these ideas into their works.
