Description

The ageing process, especially in the skin, is governed by changes in the epidermal, dermal-epidermal and dermal compartments. Extracelluar matrix (ECM) proteins, which are the major component of dermis, constitute an important target for intrinsic and extrinsic ageing related alterations.
