Description

Lesions affecting the oral cavity are unique and different from those affecting the other parts of our body. Clinical, radiological, histopathological and cytological diagnosis may be insufficient. Confirmation by immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry tissue arrays, etc needs to be done. In a bid to identify the various lesions, some authors have experimented with a large number of markers in their laboratories all throughout the world.
