She employs a mixed-methods approach to fieldwork to produce evidence-based policy recommendations for comprehensive programme improvement. Ryan Klotz, PhD, is a data scientist at Sherpa Analytics. The primary focus of his research has been on rural development, agricultural sustainability, and farmer livelihoods, particularly the sociocultural and environmental consequences of agricultural modernisation in several indigenous Maya communities in Guatemala’s western highlands.
