About the Author Metin I. Eren is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Kent, Canterbury, U.K. He has a degree in Anthropology from Harvard College (A.B.), and as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow received degrees in Anthropology from Southern Methodist University (M.A., Ph.D.), as well as in Experimental Archaeology from the University of Exeter, U.K. (M.A.). He is an experienced flintknapper and has conducted research in, and published numerous papers on, the Stone Age of North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
