About the Author Cristina Astier is a PhD Researcher in Political Philosophy at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). She holds a BA in Philosophy (University of Barcelona) and an MA in Political Philosophy (Pompeu Fabra University). She was a visiting PhD student at the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford. She is also a researcher at Globernance - The Basque Institute for Democratic Governance (San Sebastián). Her research is mainly focused on global ethics, in particular global distributive justice, and the legitimacy of global governance institutions. Ander Errasti is based at Basque Institute of Democratic Governance since 2013, where he has organised several conferences, publications, and research activities. In July 2015, he attended a summer school organized by the International Summer Research Institute hosted by the European Academy (EURAC) in collaboration with the Institute for Studies on Federalism and Regionalism from Canada, organised by Professor Alain Gagnon in Bolzano, Italy.
