A qualitative approach was utilised based on social representation theory processual approach. Various conservative surgical procedures have been developed in recent years to reduce the need for hysterectomy, including external compression sutures, selective de-vascularization by surgical ligation or radiological embolization of the uterine and pelvic arteries and intrauterine balloon tamponade. The authors also examine the correlation between the development of congenital malformations and teratogenesis brought on by adverse conditions within the millieur interieur of the developing embryo, suggesting that the pharmacokinetic processes must be seen in the perspective of maternal and fetal lethal dose parameters. A study on perceived motives for contraceptive interference (CI) is included, hypothesizing that common barriers to male condom use might also be perceived as motives for CI enacted by a man toward his female partner.
