However, the implementation of such technology is often hampered by existing techniques of process modelling and analysis. As such, this book focuses on how models can be used as a mathematical background for the algorithms of the process design, analysis, modification and optimization. About the Author Sergey P. Agashichev received his PhD and DSc from D. Mendeleyev Institute of Chemical Technology, Moscow. He is currently a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology, Moscow. His research focuses on chemical engineering, pressure-driven membrane processes, and membrane desalination, and he is the author of a number of books and research papers.
