About the Author Dr Priyanka Kakoti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English of DCB Girls’ College, Jorhat, Assam, India. She received her doctorate from Dibrugarh University, India, and her major areas of interest include writings in English from India’s Northeast, South Asian literature and women’s writing.
