About the Author Having been a classroom teacher for nearly thirty years, Dr Cynthia Wheatley Glenn has a vast amount of teaching experience. In addition, she has published several articles on a wide range of academic subjects, including motivating students to want to learn, fostering resiliency in the classroom, unlocking creativity, utilizing cognitive free will learning theory in the classroom, and adding the human touch to asynchronous online learning. She is an external reviewer for the Journal of College Student Retention, and her research interests also include professional development, peer collaboration and support strategies, and curriculum theory and design.
