Piskulova is doctor habilitatus in Economics and Professor at the International Economic Relations Department of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Russia. She specializes in the environmental aspects of international economic relations and trade policy, business cultures, and the competitive advantages of nations. She is the author and co-author of more than 150 books and articles.
