About the Author Manuel Curado is a Professor at the University of Minho, Portugal. He is also a National Defense Auditor, and holds a Doctorate cum laude from the University of Salamanca, Spain, and a Master’s Degree from the New University of Lisbon, Portugal. He has previously been a Visiting Professor in Russia, including at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, and in Italy, at the University of Padua. He has published several books, including Biomedical Ethics. Steven S. Gouveia is a PhD student at the University of Minho, Portugal, working on the methodological problem between philosophy and neuroscience, and he is also the Editor-in-Chief of Apeiron – Student Journal of Philosophy. His current research interests include some of the big questions of the philosophy of mind, the relationship between technology and society, and the definitions of art.
