He holds a Ph.D from Suresh Gyan Vihar University in 2014, and also has 16 years of rich experience in teaching with seven years in pure R&D sector of Image Processing, cloud computing/ information security, and over 90 research papers in international publications followed by 21 papers presented in conferences, more than eight of which are SCI/Scopus/Web of Sciences/Thomson Reuter Indexed Journals. Also, in order to have inquisitiveness for the current trends in technology, he has conducted and organized four conferences and five workshops followed by five National paper publications. In addition to this, he has strived to guide mentor over 35 research scholars during his career, followed by eight doctoral guidance with five as supervisor and three as Co-supervisors.Shanmugam Balamurugan is the Head of Research and Development, QUANTS IS & CS, India. Formerly, he was the Director of Research and Development at Mindnotix Technologies, India. He has authored/edited 35 books, 200 international journals/conferences, and six patents to his credit. He received three post-doctoral degrees- a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) degree and Two Doctor of Letters (D.Litt) degrees for his significant contribution to research and development in Engineering. His professional activities include roles as Associate Editor, editorial board member and/or reviewer for more than 100 international journals and conferences. He has been invited as Chief Guest/Resource Person/Keynote Plenary Speaker in many reputed Universities and Colleges at National and International Levels. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Internet of Things, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, and Wearable Computing. He is a life member of the ACM, ISTE, and CSI.
