With background in electrical engineering specializing in power generation, Gilman holds the MSc degree with distinction in Energy from the Heriot-Watt University, UK, and an MBA degree from the Newport University, U.S. He is a doctoral candidate researching project sustainability at the London South Bank University, UK. Gilman is a member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in the UK; a member of The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE); and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the U.S. Gilman is an independent researcher with interest in energy, project success, and project sustainability.
