He holds a Ph.D. degree in Economic and Management (2006). He holds a Specialist degree in International Economics (2003) from Stavropol State Agrarian University, Russia. His spheres of research interests: international trade in agricultural commodities, international trade and economic integration, sustainable development of trade, agricultural production and rural territories in the conditions of growing globalization, food and economic security, activities of the World Trade Organization, and regional development. Vasilii Erokhin is an author of over 140 scientific works in international economics, international trade, sustainable rural development and regionalization, including 6 books, 10 monographs, over 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals and proceedings (the USA, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine). He is also an author of the Series “International Trade from a Russian Perspective”, published online by Henry Stewart Talks Ltd, London. Vasilii Erokhin is a member of the editorial review boards of International Journal of Sustainable Economies Management (IJSEM) and Economics of Agriculture (Ekonomika poljoprivrede). He is a holder of the honorary awards from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation (2010), Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (2012).
