About the Author Theodore Burgh is a professor in the Philosophy and Religion Department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern studies from the University of Arizona, as well as master's degrees in Near Eastern studies and religious studies from the University of Arizona and Howard University, respectively.
