Product Description This book will present the fundamentals of greywater and related topics such as separation, characterization, collection, transportation, storage, use options, guidelines, and standards. It will examine basic fundamentals and theory, and then present the technical issues of selection, design, construction, installation, operations, and maintenance of greywater. The different types of pollutants in greywater will be discussed as well as the latest treatment options. It will also include examples of mathematical problems, typical solutions, and case studies, and also cover cost-benefit analyses of greywater treatment and reuse projects, and help determine the best economic options. About the Author Dr. Lina Abu-Ghunmi earned a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Wageningen University in the Netherlands and a MSc and BSc in Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering, respectively, from the University of Jordan. Dr. Abu-Ghunmi is currently a Researcher at the University of Jordan. She succeeded in securing a number of research grants from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID); the Third World Academy of Science (TWAS); the Jordanian Scientific Support Fund (SRSF); and the University of Jordan. Furthermore, Dr. Abu-Ghunmi contributed to the development of online course on greywater for the UNESCO-IHE Institute during 2009-2011, and she has several publications in the area of wastewater in highly accredited journals. Dr. Diana Abu-Ghunmi earned her PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Durham in the United Kingdom. She has research interest in environmental economics, in general, and in economics of water sector, in particular. Dr. Abu-Ghunmi secured research grants to conducts research in this area and also received 2015-2106 Fulbright Visiting Scholarship to carry out research in the area of the cost-benefit analysis of wastewater treatment.
