Description

This book emphasizes how new generation materials discovered recently (like graphene and topological insulators) can be understood using simple Quantum Transport Theory. The book is aimed at the reader who is just starting research in Theoretical or Experimental Physics of Dirac Materials. It will act as a good guide laying a solid ground using examples and exercise. The book could also be used as a text in Advanced Solid State/Condensed Matter Courses in Physics or Chemistry and in branches of Engineering. About the Author Colin Benjamin is a Reader F at the School of Physical Sciences, NISER, Bhubaneswar. His research interest include theoretical nanoscale science especially quantum transport in Dirac materials; Quantum information, computation and simulation. He has written 30 papers and is currently working on three more. Having his work published in the most highly rated journals, his aim is to pursue a career in teaching and continue in theoretical research by utilizing his analytical abilities in areas of condensed matter and quantum information.
