Despite all the rhetoric of peace and actions taken in the name of peace, we find ourselves within the same cycle of violence. This work also introduces important new theories, such as peace and security as complementary concepts. Using this framework, nations would enter conflicts with the end in mind, and not view negotiated peace as a bridge to cross on arrival.
