About the Author Javier Rojo is Professor of Statistics in the School of Engineering at Rice University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, American Statistical Association, and American Association for the Advancement of Science. He is an elected member of the International Statistical Institute. He received the 2010 ASA Don Owen Award, and has served as Editor of the Journal of Nonparametric Statistics. He is Erich L. Lehmann’s last Ph.D. student.
