Ingraham is the Founding Dean of the College of Community and Public Affairs at Binghamton University. She has received numerous honours for her teaching and research, including the John Gaus Award for Career Distinction in Public Administration and Political Science from the American Political Science Association in 2004, and the Dwight Waldo Award for Distinguished Contributions to the Profession from the American Society for Public Administration in 2001. An accomplished academic researcher, her interests include the performance of public organizations, as well as managing and leading the people within them. She is the editor and author of more than one dozen volumes on governance and is co-editor of Comparative Administrative Change and Reform: Lessons Learned (McGill Queens University Press, 2010). Soonhee Kim is a Professor of the Department of Public Administration and International Affairs and a Senior Research Associate in the Campbell Institute of Public Affairs in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University. Professor Kim′s areas of expertise include public management, strategic human resources management, electronic government, local governance and leadership development. She is the 2010 recipient of the Julia B. Henderson Award by the American Society for Public Administration′s Section of Women in Public Administration, honouring her commitment to international public administration.
