It examines where in the world the language is spoken, who speaks it, what alphabet the language is written in, differences and similarities between the language and English, and other interesting facts. Each book also includes introductions on how to say key phrases in the language, such as how to say hello and goodbye, or talk about your home, school, and family. A pronunciation guide at the back of the book explains how to pronounce the foreign-language words used throughout the book. About the Author Daniel Nunn has written numerous books for young readers on a variety of topics, specializing in early years and elementary education. Like Eddie the Elephant, he enjoys playing hide and seek with his two young children. His favorite hiding place is behind the curtains in the living room! Jilly Hunt has over 15 years experience of educational publishing. Formerly an editor for Pearson, Jilly is now a freelance children's writer and editor. She has written more than 15 non-fiction books for children and young adults. She graduated from Oxford Brookes University with BA Honours in Publishing and History of Art. She now lives in Oxfordshire with her husband two small children. Charlotte Guillain worked as a bookseller, an English teacher and an editor before becoming an author.
