These activities enable those studying and teaching religious education to be active researchers. About the Author Julian Stern is Professor of Education and Religion at York St John University, UK. He is General Secretary of ISREV - the International Seminar on Religious Education and Values - an association of religious education scholars from more than 34 countries. He is a member of the editorial board of the British Journal of Religious Education, and is widely published, with 15 books and more than 30 articles.
