About the Author Narendra Chapalgaonker is former Judge, High Court of Bombay, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He taught law and Marathi literature before joining the Bar. He was Professor Emeritus in the Social Sciences at Yeshwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik, and Ford Professor in Public Law at the Indian Law Society's (ILS) Law College, Pune. He is also Associate Fellow at the Indian School of Political Economy, Pune, Maharashtra.
