About the Author Andy Young is Professor of Psychology at the University of York, UK. He has more than 40 years of experience researching different aspects of face perception, and has held posts at the Universities of Aberdeen, Lancaster, Durham and York, and the Medical Research Council. In 2013 he won the British Psychological Society's Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Contributions to Psychological Knowledge.
