This book will be of interest to general and specialist readers in the fields of Asian Studies, cultural studies, gender and sexuality studies, legal studies and history. This book was published as a special issue of Asian Studies Review. About the Author Vera Mackie is Senior Professor of Asian Studies at the University of Wollongong. She is co-editor (with Mark McLelland) of the Routledge Handbook of Sexuality Studies in East Asia (2014).
