Previously he was a technical advisor to the Research and Development Centre, Nippon Koei Co. Ltd, and the research and training advisor to International Centre for Water Hazard and Risk Management, both in Japan. He is the author of Environmental and Hydrological Systems Modelling (CRC Press, 2014).
