He is a former faculty member of the San Francisco Academy of Art College, and editor of EFX Art & Design Magazine, and host of the Painter World Wide User Group. He earned his Master's in physics from Oxford University and studied art at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford University, and at the Vrije Akademie (the Hague, the Netherlands).
