About the Author Ken Kempner is Professor Emeritus, Department of Social Sciences, Policy, and Culture, Southern Oregon University. Ken does research in Educational Policy, Educational Leadership and Comparative Education. His latest research project and paper is: 'Security Issues and the Public Good in Arab Universities: Faculty Perspectives.'
