During her three vists to Sweden and from inteviews she seeks to record the feedback of these events on the sex-role equality drive and on the attitudes of women particularly. In conclusion she has ventured to predict in a very general way the direction that work for equality will take in the future. About the Author Hilda Scott, a journalist who has spent much of her career abroad writing on European affairs, is the author of Does Socialism Liberate Women? Experiences fro m Eastern E urope, 1974 (British title Women and Socialism , 1976) and editor (w ith Margrit Eichler) of Women and Futures Research, 1981.
