His research focuses on Jewish Studies, Law and Religion, Legal History and Comparative Jurisprudence, on which he has published extensively.Yaël Ronen is a Professor of Law at the Academic Center for Science and Law, Hod Hasharon, Israel, and Research Fellow at the Minerva Center for Human Rights. She is the academic editor of the Israel Law Review (ISR, Cambridge). She specialises in issues of territorial status including occupation, international human rights law and international criminal law.Yuval Shany is a Professor of Law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Vice-President for Research at the Israel Democracy Institute and a member and former Chair of the UN Human Rights Committee in Geneva.
