Book Description This book analyses the context and the content of ACTA and its relation with ongoing initiatives to improve enforcement of intellectual property. About the Author Pedro Roffe is Senior Associate at the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), where he contributes to the work of the Programme on Technology, Innovation and Intellectual Property and Development. He often advises governments, international organizations and private entities. In his work, he has paid particular attention to international negotiations and has advised governments on strategies and policies on international aspects of transfer of technology, intellectual property and foreign direct investment. In his various capacities, he has published articles and books and has been responsible for a number of collective publications.Xavier Seuba is Senior Research Associate and Lecturer at Centre d'Études Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle (CEIPI) at the University of Strasbourg and at Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona. He has advised governments and international organizations in the context of trade negotiations and on occasions of adoption of policies and laws relating to intellectual property and pharmaceutical products. The books, articles and papers that he has authored, coordinated or edited deal with a range of topics falling within the areas of public international law and intellectual property law.
