Gurdjieff clearly wanted his pupils to try to understand Objective Science. He left two accounts of it. One adorns the pages of In Search of the Miraculous; the other merges itself into the text of Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson. He described its study as a necessity - one of five obligolnian strivings. And yet, most books about The Work steer clear of the topic. This book moves in the opposite direction. It grasps the nettle-exploring the principles of Objective Science and explaining why it cannot be reconciled with Modern Science in its current form. It then proceeds to provide a clear description of the fundamentals of Objective Science: What are its methods? What does the Ray of Creation signify or imply? What are the Hydrogens and how are they derived? What are the implications of the Trogoautoegocrat? How are the elements formed? How does evolution happen? What is plasma and what is its role in the life of the whole cosmos? How do new planets form? Is the Moon really growing? Is the Earth itself growing? What is Man's place in the cosmos and how can we use the Step Diagram (see the front cover) to understand that? Is humanity really food for the Moon? If so, how? The author accompanies you on a journey of revelation. It's an intellectual adventure and a wild conceptual ride.
