Description

This is a definitive translation of the Precious Rosary of Chöd Feasts (Rinpoche or Rinchen Tsokley Trengwa), with Tibetan, transliteration and English text. The book includes full musical notation of the reading text as well as notes for the accompaniment of damaru and bell and other ritual activites. The transliteration is uniquely designed for proper pronunciation. The second edition is extensively edited, page by page to imporve the layout and word flow and correct any minor misalignements or errors in the Tibetan or English. With hundreds of black and white and color illustrations, this ritual text is a delight to use, appropriate to the beauty and elegance of this sacred work. Direclty from the earliest tradition of MaChik, including those attributed to herself as well as Padampa Sangye and her sons, it encompasses the entirity of the Chöd tradition, with its original organiztion into ten (now color-coded) sections. This includes 15 feasts, Dakini section, Protector section, extensive Torma offerings, Ganachakra and much more. One can select any practice any section, prayer, feast or guru yoga, etc., or do the entire ritual in a full one or two day ritual. There is also a truncated way of doing the entire practice in the space of one or two hours (this information available directly from the translator).
