20 entertaining and memorable Irish-language songs, designed for the linguistic, musical and vocal ability of primary school children. The first of two excellent books supporting the new Irish national curriculum for music from 2005, with the backing of Wexford County Council and An Foras na Gaelige. Each book contains 20 songs in the Irish language by composer Sue Furlong. Teaching notes and activities for the pupils are provided in both Irish and English. The book contains suggestions for classroom percussion activities, along with piano accompaniments, guitar chord symbols and a CD which provides both sample performances and outstanding professional backing tracks for use in class or in concert. The songs will stimulate children both musically and linguistically. Book 1 covers Junior and Senior Infants, 1st and 2nd Classes. Pupils' pages may be photocopied for use in class. (Title means "With One Voice")
